The PMO Manager will work under the direction of the CAO. This is a full-time salaried position.

This role is a vital part of the Management Department, which serves as an internal consultancy to the business on a broad array of topics. You are a highly motivated team member with a broad experience base and a passion for business process improvement, change management and continuous improvement in general. You are prepared to be an integral part of taking a two year old company from its current state of limited process and policy definition to a world class level that provides the business with the parameters within which to operate successfully while still enabling speed of change and decision making. You will actively participate in the formation of a strategy and plan to effect this transformation and other key departmental objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work
  • Take an active role in establishing a strategy and plan for the Management Department
  • Serve as a consultant to the business on issues involving process, policies and controls
  • Document and establish business processes
  • Facilitate workshops to identify current and future state
  • Roll out initiatives using change management principles
  • Where appropriate, create process alignment with the parent company
  • Create policies and procedures for various aspects of the business
  • Where necessary, build broad consensus on policy requirements
  • Document and roll out policies using change management principles
  • Direct ad-hoc and ongoing initiatives, for example:
  • COVID-19 response
  • Continuous improvement program
  • Crisis management program
  • Work with various departments to correct control gaps identified by internal and external auditors
  • Identify opportunities across the business where process or definition can yield improvements
  • Data and financial analysis as required

Required Experience:

  • 5 or more years in a management consulting environment
  • Demonstrated experience in business process mapping and redesign
  • Demonstrated experience in change management
  • Solid knowledge of project management principles
  • Experience working in a mid to large corporate environment
  • Data and financial analysis experience

Required Education

  • Undergraduate degree in business or a related discipline
