What you get to do:

Greet and welcome arriving guests as they enter the hotel. Assist both arriving and departing guests with baggage handling and supervise door and luggage attendants with respect to same.

Your day-to-day:

• Transport guests to and from Dane County Regional Airport - MSN
• Transport guests to and from local businesses/restaurants/attractions
• Perform daily inspection of vehicles for safety and efficiency
• Notify management of any vehicle deficiencies or issues
• Keep vehicles clean and neat at all times
• Load and unload guest luggage and belongings in and out of shuttle
• Assist guests with luggage to guest rooms when needed
• Project a willing, urgent and “can do” attitude
• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner
• Support and comply with all hotel policies and procedures
• Enhance guest experience by “Wowing” guests on a daily basis!
• Clean hotel public spaces, parking lot, windows, stock and more
• Any other assigned duties'
• Maintain the check-in station for appearance, organization, and operational effectiveness. Ensure the department’s uniforms, operational departmental areas and lobby are checked for cleanliness and organization, correcting as necessary.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
• A good driving record is required and must be approved by our insurance company prior to employment

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prior experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
