Seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Machine Operator
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To run product produced by injection molding presses.
• Visual inspection, trimming, and packing of injection molded plastic products.
• Ability to recognize molding defects, such as shorts, splay, burns, flash, color swirls, and contamination among others.
• To fill out and maintain accurate production, scrap, and downtime paperwork.
• The ability to be trained to run multiple presses and products, and to able to do so at standard cycle times.
• The operation of secondary equipment within the molding department as required for various jobs.
• To able to follow verbal and written instructions within an injection molding environment.
• To always abide all company and facility policies and safety standards.
• To help maintain a clean and safe working environment by following departmental and facility housekeeping standards.
• To participate in, and help maintain, all 5S and organizational events and systems within the molding department and manufacturing facility.
• Ability and willingness to help in other departments as assigned by the Molding Supervisor or Operations Manager.

• 8 hour shift

• Utica, MI 48315: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
