Plant Manager (Located in San Luis Potosi, Mexico)
Job description
The Plant Manager is responsible to meet financial, manufacturing and quality goals for the Mexican location. Overseeing daily operations of manufacturing, product quality, engineering, facility/equipment maintenance and delivery.
Education: BS Engineering
Required Experience (8-10 Years):
- New plant start-up and supervision of production, quality compliance and safety
- Experience on transfer of production lines and technology equipment from overseas
- Plant layout and production requirements for plant improvement
- Budget development and management
- Experience with wood, paint, metal, assembly and plastics for manufacturing finished goods
- Lead and promote production goals for the different project phases
- Ensure plans for production, quality, safety and on time shipping are fulfilled
- Assist to develop the layout for manufacturing process and necessary preparations on site
- Deploy continuous improvement plans throughout departments and people
- Evaluate report status of project targets and milestones to HQ and establish the actions to meet the company objectives. Develop and report on KPI’s
- Identify and manage local contractors
- Establish and keep track of the operational budget
- Lead and promote production goals for the different project phases
- Maintain direct communications and regular reporting with HQ, customers and key suppliers
