We are looking for a motivated individual to oversee the growth of our manufacturing division from a start up of 10 people to 100+ people in the space of 3 years. This will involve progressing our production operations and supporting upcoming product offerings as we begin operating in the Lehigh Valley.

We are passionate about embracing the latest technology, to give us an edge on our competition and allow us to manufacture products at a higher quality, with a lower price & faster turnaround time than anyone else. Our growth plans require a very dedicated and intelligent Plant Manager to build, develop and lead a strong production team that can embrace efficiency, continual change and growth.

Here’s what we are looking for in a candidate:

  • 5+ years' experience in managing manufacturing operations in a FMCG or relevant environment.
  • Experience managing and developing a fast growing team and overall operation.
  • University Degree in relevant field and demonstrated intelligence through academic results.
  • A natural leader with high energy levels along with great communication skills.
  • A strong focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives. We focus heavily on improving processes using new technologies and need someone that can embrace this change to push efficiency improvements.
  • Ability to develop metrics to track performance and optimize workflows or processes.

Ticking the boxes? Well, let's get into a bit more detail about the role. In any given day you will be responsible for:

  • Management and planning of production resources to achieve company objectives.
  • Ensuring QC and SO procedures are maintained and developed using effective communication and training across all production shifts.
  • Overseeing machine maintenance and servicing schedules.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and technicians to ensure maximum up time of all plant and equipment.
  • Providing oversight for support and resolution of operational issues as they come up on the production floor.
  • Ensuring maximum productivity from the production team.
  • Developing and implementing continual process improvements and adoption by the Production team.
  • Maintain safety in the workplace and ensure OHS guidelines are adhered to.

This is a developing role with regular continual improvement, you will be helping improve the structure and processes while you work closely with the executive team and together keep all aspects of the business one step ahead as we continue to grow quickly.

  • Attractive remuneration (Negotiable) + benefits + performance bonuses.
  • Hours of the role are 8:30 am - 5pm Mon-Fri. Our production team will cover 1st and 2nd shifts.

Pay: $82,469.21 - $148,749.90 per year
