Toss & Fire Wood-Fired Pizza is a Neapolitan inspired wood-fired pizza concept with two locations and mobile pizza trucks.

This is a part time position with the possibility for full time. You must have night/weekend availability to be considered. Estimated pay includes tips.

JOB DESCRIPTION- PIZZA/OVEN

Summary: Team player with a “can do” attitude who is responsible for the daily preparing, production and serving of food items that are prepared in the pizza kitchen such as: dough, pizza, calzones, stromboli’s, piegata’s, and daily “back up’s”.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Essential Duties:

Prepares food items for restaurant, delivery and take out customers while maintaining quality standards
Serves food items ensuring that food is at the correct temperature, attractive and tasty
Assists with preparation of food items for catered/truck events
Keeps walk in and reach in refrigerators/freezers and storerooms clean, neat and organized
Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers and managers
Additional duties as assigned by managers
Daily Operational Tasks:

Ensures pizza area is clean, organized and that all food items for shift are well stocked. Stocks pizza refrigerator prior to each shift
Stocks wood as necessary. Ensures ovens are at proper temperature
Refers to daily prep list for additional items that need to be prepared
Assists with timely and proper storage of items delivered by vendors
Breaks down and disposes of boxes/cardboard
Prepares orders for dining room, take out and delivery
Communicates with “expo” and “production” for timely serving of food items related to dining room, take out and delivery
Before, during and after shift, assists with running dishes, pots, pans, glasses, silverware, etc… through dish machine as necessary
Refers to nightly clean up checklist to ensure proper cleaning procedures are being followed
Checks with closing manager for additional tasks before clocking out
Must be able to lift up to 55 lb bags of flour.
