Berkshire Meadows is a residential facility for children and adults with severe intellectual disabilities and complex medical needs.

Job Description:

We currently have an opening for for a caring individual who desires to make a difference in the lives of those with special needs in a great team atmosphere.

Working alongside our interdisciplinary team the Physical Therapist is responsible for working with our residents with a wide range of disabilities; introducing sensory activities and assisting staff with ADL and academic skill development.

Schedule: Part Time, 24 hours a week

JRI Provides The Training So That:

• YOU will be able to provide direct PT services and consultations for a special needs population with complex special needs and chronic health issues.
• YOU will be able to provide initial and on-going assessments.
• YOU will provide timely and accurate documentation.
• YOU will set goals and developing treatment plans and IEPs.
• YOU will work cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• New grads are encouraged to apply!
• Education: BS, MSPT, DPT.
• Required license or certification: Physical Therapy, State of MA
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
