Clarkston Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is looking for full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Physical Therapy team! The ideal candidate will have a strong team focus and is patient-centric driven.

Also a great opportunity for a Physical Therapist just starting out as we offer a 'structured mentorship program' under the supervision of our clinic director!!

Clinic hours generally 7am-7pm, M-F.

Orthopedic focus (ages from 5+), but also anticipate general balance/ debility/ vertigo/light neuro complimentary Dx

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new patients, develop plans of care, and create measurable, functional goals for them to maximize function or reduce pain
• Periodically re-evaluate patient status and modify care plan, if needed
• Use therapeutic procedures, exercise, or equipment to restore movement, strength, or flexibility
• Treat patients and educate them on their injuries and progress
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Techs when they are providing modalities
• Create and maintain documentation including, but not limited to, evaluations, re-evaluations, daily progress notes and discharge plans
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with patients and staff

Qualifications:

• Valid State of Michigan license in Physical Therapy
• 2-3 years’ experience in Ortho (preferred)
• BLS certification (preferred)
