Lake City Physical Therapy is a leading provider of physical therapy care for patients experiencing issues related to pelvic floor dysfunction, oncology care, and sports related issues. We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team and help us continue to grow our presence in the community. As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Lake City Physical Therapy, you will learn from a highly knowledgeable team of physical therapists to perform care on patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, cancer treatment, or sport-related injuries.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in people's lives by connecting with them and understanding their unique needs. You must have the ability to learn new things quickly and confidently apply what you've learned in order to solve complex issues for patients. We also need someone who is willing to go above and beyond for patients—never sell yourself short!

In evaluating the industry and listening to the needs of the providers we have worked to reduce physical therapy burn out. The two biggest complaints throughout the industry were charting and seeing multiple patients per hour. To make your careers longer lasting and more fulfilling. We utilize an EMR system that helps you chart up to 40% faster and you will only see 1:1 hour long patient visits.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new patients and make them feel safe
• Devise detailed treatment and care plans for each of the patients
• Communicate and coordinate with patients’ physicians to ensure a consistent level of care
• Exercise independent judgment based on experience to implement effective treatment combinations
• Evaluate and report on patients’ progress
• Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
• Complete at least 10 hours of continuing education every two years

• 8 hour shift

License/Certification:

• Physical Therapy Assistance License (Required)

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
