Job description
Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records. Collects and prepares other specimens such as urine and respiratory swabs for laboratory analysis. Reports to the Lab Supervisor and Director of Laboratory Services. Greets and interacts with patients and visitors courteously at all times.Ability to perform venipunctures,. Ability to communicate and perform phlebotomy procedures on all ages from pediatric to geriatric. Ability to effectively delegate and address issues with community agencies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification preferred. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
