Job description
The major responsibility of the Pharmacy Tech in Training is to support the Pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process.
Requirements Excellent customer service skills are required. One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. The Pharmacy Tech in Training should be willing to take additional training to sharpen any skill deficiencies. Licenses/Certification: Valid Driver’s License To work towards the Registration with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technicians are allowed to work as a ‘tech in training’ for up to 500 hours. Following this “training” period they are required to become registered.
