Responsibilities
About this Position
Assists in the clarification of the Medication Reconciliation process for all admitted patients. Completes daily duties with skill and competence, assisting the pharmacists in drug ordering, compounding and distribution.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must demonstrate leadership skills.
- State Board of Pharmacy (CA) Pharmac Tech registration (CT PHRMTEC)
Special Skills:
- Excellent attendance record.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Able to work different shifts, days and areas of pharmacy as necessary to meet departmental needs.
- Computer experience preferred, typing experience required if no computer skills.
- Must be able to comprehend medical terminology and understand medication dosage forms, or have related medical experience.
- Aptitude for working with other health professionals.
