Pet Wellness Advocate
Part Time
Starting at $14 an hour. Adjusted based upon experience after a probationary period.

We create an exceptional customer experience by informing customers about our products and assisting them with their pet purchases. We're looking for a Pet Wellness Advocate to join our team of fellow dog and cat lovers in the Greater Columbus area!

At Mutts & Co, you'll have the opportunity to educate pet parents about animal nutrition and how to maintain a healthy and active pet lifestyle. You will initiate dialogue with pet parents and talk about their pet's health and nutrition! Our Pet Wellness Advocates greet every pet parent who walks through the doors, ask and answer questions and provide an exceptional level of customer service!

What will you do?

• Find the best solution for the customers' needs with every conversation.
• Process transactions with accuracy.
• Stock shelves and re-ticket for price changes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Help to meet sales goals as directed by your Store Manager.
• Complete daily tasks as assigned by your management team.
• Organize and maintain product merchandising.

What do you need?

• You need to love animals … obviously! But you need to love working with people too.
• You need to have proficient computer skills as well as be technically inclined and willing to learn.
• You need to be solution-oriented, outgoing, personable, ambitious, and reliable.
• The most ideal applicant would have daytime and weekend availability and some evening availability.
• At least one year of retail experience is preferred.
