Mile Creek Animal Hospital/Paw Purs Place is looking for a FT trustworthy and friendly pet groomer who will treat all animals with the upmost love and care to perform all grooming-related duties necessary to ensure that pets are groomed, clean, and look their best.

Mile Creek Animal Hospital is a small animal veterinary clinic located in Minster, Ohio that serves that surrounding communities of Auglaize, Mercer, and Shelby counties. Responsibilities:
De-matting and de-tangling hair as required
Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets
Trimming pets' nails, brushing pets' teeth, and cleaning ears
Grooming according to pet owners' instructions or standard grooming styles
Ensuring all pets' are safe during the grooming process
Routinely cleaning work areas
Ensure grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition at all times
Recommending suitable products to pet owners'
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Certification is an advantage but not a requirement
Proven professional grooming experience
Sound understanding of animal behavior
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to treat all animals with compassion
Ability to lift heavy pets and equipment
Exceptional communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Willingness to complete continuing educational courses
