Job description

We are seeking a Groomer to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. This is a commission based pay, you will be able to set your own hours with in reason, minimum of 30 hours required to be eligible for benefits. We will provide grooming table and tub, blades, shampoo/cologne.

Responsibilities:

• Handle general care and grooming of the animals
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds
• Must be self sufficient and motivated
• Ability to work with many different pet personalities including felines
• Knowledge of nail trims, anal gland expressing, ear cleaning/plucking
• Knowledge of all breed specific grooming styles
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal grooming
• Must be able to provide references
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
