$40 - $45 per hour (search by foot or car, tbd via job) – Tristate Pet Finders is seeking multiple Pet Finders for (on call, spot work, per diem work) only, Primarily in in N.J. but also NYC, Westchester, Nassau, & Suffolk County. Tristate Pet Finders provides active & retired law enforcement officers or people with animal experience to search for peoples lost pets. At times signs have to be posted, or aspca has to be contacted, etc. The rates are $40 to $45 per hour with 4-hour minimum, & some clients will pay rewards for finding their pets on top of the hourly rate, ranging from $50 to $5000 dollars. We do not chase pets, & we’re paid whether we find the pet or not. When we find pets, generally we call the owners to the scene, to coax the pet back into their custody, and in rare cases we use a snare. Note: 20% of calls are in Westchester, 35% New Jersey, 25% NYC, 20% Long Island. If you're unavailable, we'll just call another Pet Finder. please email or fax a resume to Tristate Pet Finders.
