Personal Trainer (Part-time)

Are you a personal trainer or aspiring trainer?

Would you like to work at an awesome gym in Nashville that’s changing lives every day?

Hey! My name is Marty Vaughn and I own 360 Fitness Coaching in West Nashville.

All day we get to help people become the strongest version of themselves through greater health and fitness.

It’s truly rewarding work that I have been doing for over two decades now.

As most people get little to no fulfillment from their job, you get the opportunity to help people get fit, healthy and strong…everyday!

The great news…we are growing!

We have opened up more training availability in our schedule and we need a new trainer to help us with the large demand of people that need our help.

What's in it for you

A Career: We’ve have trainers that have been here for 8-10 years and show up day in and day out happy as heck to be able to do such rewarding work.

No Sales: Our trainers do no sales on the floor, we want you to focus on what you do best.

Continuing Education: Because the fitness industry is always changing, we must continue to learn and grow with it. I have read many books, taken courses and learned from some of the top leaders in our industry and you will have access to many books and courses that I have acquired over the years.

Part of the Tribe: You're going to get to work alongside some of the best trainers in the industry, we promise you will learn more in a few months than you have in your entire career. This a strong team environment with a large investment in staff development. We have an exciting company vision for 2021 and need coaches that are a fit for the core values and see value in both personal development and team development.

Money: It’s really awesome here but we’re certaintly not going to ask you to work for free. Compensation ranges from $20-$35 per hour.

What we’re looking for:

Positive Energy: Having positive energy is not a benefit, it’s a job requirement for us

Great with People: We want someone that is outstanding with people. You have to love people and be completely excited about helping others achieve their goals and have excellent communication and customer service skills. Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills are a must to be successful as a personal trainer.

Hard Worker: We want someone that’s not afraid to work hard and be a humble, hungry, and smart team player with a desire and capacity to coach all fitness levels

A Learner: You don’t have to be the world’s smartest trainer to work here but you need to have an incredible thirst to become a better trainer, everyday!

Certified/Degree: A Personal trainer Certification such as: CFSC, ACSM, ACE, NAMS, NCSA, AFFA, NCCPT, NETA, ISSA, or NFPT. Others may be considered after review. College Degree is preferred but NOT required to apply. Valid CPR/AED certification

Experience: 1-3 Experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry with a knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred but NOT required. If you’re totally new to this game please do not let that prevent you from applying. We have a strong onboarding system and we’ll have you ready to go faster than any certification out there.

Who is this NOT perfect for? We believe that a rising tide lifts all ships. Each trainer provides a similar experience for members. This is not a good fit for someone that prefers to use their own training style and approach like in a commercial gym training atmosphere where they like to do 1 on 1 training.
