Personal Injury Paralegal / Case Manager
Job description
Personal injury law firm based in Floral Park, NY, is looking for a paralegal / case manager with experience in all pre-litigation matters.
Responsibilities include:
- Client intake
- Oversee NF claim handling; disability/lost wages; handling property damage claims
- Investigate and evaluate case facts
- Keep track of client treatment and review medical records
- Heavy contact with clients and insurance companies
- Settle cases
This is a senior paralegal position, and we expect to heavily rely on the paralegal's judgment and independent decision-making with respect to communication with clients and insurance companies.
Organizational skills and attention to detail are absolutely required! Successful candidates must have good judgment, be able to take initiative, perform work accurately and efficiently, and have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
