Job description

Personal care aide needed for an independently living and very active person with a disability (Quadriplegic). I self-direct my care and manage caregivers. All training can be provided. Though preferred, no PCA/CNA or other licensing is required.

This is for a position as an in-home personal care aide through the Virginia Medicaid CCC Plus program.

Hours will be 20-30 hours per week and occasionally more.(3-4 days per week)

Shifts are usually four hours morning/evening . Can vary with appointment & travel. Be working with my two other helpers schedule is based on what is most work for all.

If you are available for travel overnight and/or garden/yard work more hours may be available as well.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Bowel & Bladder care
• Bathing, Dressing & Transferring with Lift
• Cooking
• Cleaning
• Some travel for appointments and work activities associated with my job.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.62 per hour
