As a personal banker you will:
- Ensure a high focus on determining members’ needs and cross-selling appropriate services while continually building and enhancing member relationships.
- Opens new member accounts; including CDs, Money Market, Savings etc.
- Understands and applies savings and lending policies and procedures for possible sales opportunities.
- Assists with vault cash and member financial transactions.
- Assists in meeting and exceeding individual, team and credit union goals.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Three or more years’ experience in a financial institution along with a 4 year degree in a related field preferred.
- Three or more years’ experience in a financial institution or retail sales position where sales was required may substitute for a degree.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong Knowledge of sales and service techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good problem resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
