LOCATION: Remote
Remote worksite must be within the United States (U.S.).

QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience within the last eight (8) years – providing application integration engineering and administration in a Cloud and/or Virtualized environment.
• Must meet two (2) of the following criteria within the last five (5) years:3 years’ experience installing agents, forwarders, APIs, performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards, and data trend analysis in AppDynamics, and the monitoring and troubleshooting of applications being monitored.

3 years’ experience configuring and managing Prometheus and Grafana; this must include 2 years monitoring and troubleshooting Cloud applications.
3 years’ experience with ElasticSearch / ELK log aggregation; this must include 2 years monitoring and troubleshooting Cloud applications.
3 years’ experience working with Splunk aggregating information from applications into Splunk and developing dashboards.
3 years’ experience installing, configuring, and setting up APIs, performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards, and data trend analysis in with DynaTrace; this must include 2 years monitoring and troubleshooting of Cloud applications

• Mid-level experience in the following:Recommending and/or helping determine the recommendations for baseline monitoring thresholds and performance monitoring KPIs and SLAs.

Gathering and organizing large amounts of data to use for instrumentation into an Enterprise monitoring solution.
Provide monitoring tool infrastructure recommendations.
Creating client-ready technical documentation.
Working as part of an Agile team.
Planning, leading and participating in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.

• Professional verbal and written communications skills that clearly, concisely, and properly conveys information the first time – thereby successfully avoiding miscommunications and/or providing inadequate information, reports, deliverables, and responses.
• Task management experience managing activities and schedules.
• Nice to Have:Experience with the Veterans Administration or other similar federal Government agency/organization.

Experience installing agents, forwarders, APIs, performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards, and data trend analysis in SolarWinds, Aternity, and/or ScienceLogic
Experience with ServiceNow Visual Task Board

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in computer science, engineering or similar major.

OR

• Three (3) years of additional relevant mid-level Experience.
