Performance Improvement Specialist

Join our expanding team in our new state of the art behavioral health facility with 132 beds!

Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.

As the Performance Improvement Specialist, you will have a broad responsibility to always ensure the hospital’s compliance with all Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulatory agencies standards and requirements. The Performance Improvement Specialist is responsible for staff training and education on the hospital’s performance initiatives and measures including outcomes measurement and reporting.

Performance Improvement Specialist Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required.

Experience: Four (4) years of experience in quality and risk management/improving organizational performance within an acute medical or psychiatric treatment setting.

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, State of North Dakota standards, CMS standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities is preferred.
