Job description

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Post Anesthesia nursing with critical care experience preferred.
• Current State Registered Nurse license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required
• Current IV certification from an approved facility preferred
• Minimum two years experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgical setting with demonstrated competence as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Post Anesthesia Care Registered nurse/ Preoperative Care Registered Nurse/ Recovery Stage Two Registered Nurse
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Pediatrics experience
• PACU experience
• Is responsible and accountable for post anesthesia and preoperative ambulatory nursing process.
• Works flexible hours assuming responsibility and accountability for providing patient care.
• Conducts patient preoperative and postoperative calls and completes all documentation within the defined time frame.
• Seeks learning opportunities and demonstrates skill level and capabilities as a member of the perioperative staff at the center contributing to the center's Measures of Success for quality outcomes.'
