Lexington Center for Recovery is seeking LPNs/RNs for our Opioid Treatment Program in Rockland County.

Position Summary (main purpose and function):

• Dispensing of methadone per guidelines of NYS OASAS/DEA regulatory agencies.
• Provide medical oversight to clients participating in a Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program.
• Provide support to Nursing Supervisor by executing duties within medical compliance to regulatory standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensures patient care is provided in accordance with internal policy and procedures as well as external regulations.
• Maintains complete and accurate records.
• Recognize, treat and report changes in methadone clients physical and emotional condition related to methadone maintenance.
• Participates in training and in-service education.
• Conduct medical assessments of clients.
• Witness “observed urine screens” as necessary.
• Abides by HIPAA regulations.
• Skills, Knowledge, Education, Experience:
• Nurse licensure required, LPN or RN
• Two years prior experience working in a health-related facility preferred.
• Experience in Phlebotomy is preferred.
• Prior experience working in the field of alcohol/substance abuse treatment preferred.
• Nurse must maintain open communication with clinical colleagues (Psychiatrist, Therapists, Consultants, Counselors, Case Managers, MPS workers).
• Nurse needs to maintain open communication with external service providers as needed (i.e., DSS, Dept. of Health, schools, health services providers, pharmacy, labs, etc.)
• HIPAA Compliance.

HOURS: 5:30 AM – 12:00 PM - M, T, W; 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM Th, F
