Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for training, maintenance and troubleshooting of PBX software. Assist in maintaining data base systems. Perform duties specific to customer service through call management.

TECHNICAL SKILLS -Coordinate the operation, maintenance and troubleshoot the Nortel console. Maintain accurate databases and directories for all communication needs. Update policies/procedure and maintain the Meditech Library. Orientate new user to voicemail, wireless and messaging services. Assist in the training and scheduling of Operators. Maintain access codes for long distance switch. Other tasks as assigned.


COMMUNICATION - Ensures timely, accurate and confidential communication of patient information to all Operators and members of the health care team.


EDUCATION - Research new product lines and technology to provide the most accurate dissemination of information. Coordinate and assist in training and reorientation of employees. Provide inservices to keep staff informed of changes, new procedures and customer service assurance.


LEADERSHIP - Demonstrates initiative and good judgement in making decisions. Accessible and responsive to staff. Works positively to resolve conflicts. Accepts responsibility and independently identifies opportunities to offer additional support to staff and Director. Maintain department payroll and personnel files. Foster teamwork and positive employee relationships. Performs special tasks, projects and related duties as assigned to help meet departmental and facility needs.


DOCUMENTATION - Maintains PBX Daily Report, Emergency Log.


What qualifications you will need:
  • High School Graduate / GED
