Overview:
Edwards Auto Group, based in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for a
Payroll Manager to join our growing team. The
Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily processing and delivery of payroll for all of Edwards Auto Group. Edwards Auto Group includes 14 car franchises, 8 powersport franchises, 9 dealership locations and over 600+ employees.
Responsibilities:
- Process and support payroll team in the processing of payroll cycles for all employees and locations (pay dates 15th & last day of month)
- Provide training and development for payroll team.
- Prepare and run payroll and other reports
- Process Child Support & garnishments
- Assist with 401k Audit
- Assist with accounting journal entries
- Assist with new hire onboarding
- Maintain payroll processing guidelines and procedures
- Assist employees with payroll questions etc.
- Train existing and new payroll team members
- Assist stores and employees on payroll & tax issues.
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as needed
- 3-5 years of experience in Payroll is required
- Management/Supervisor experience is required
- Experience with Paylocity is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be organized and detailed
- Time efficiency is a must
