Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Patient Service Specialist who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Patient Service Specialist you will:
  • Register patients accurately with demographics and insurance information.
  • Scan patient information documents i.e, Registration form, Meaningful Use
form, referring physician order, blood work and waivers.
  • Identify, reference, and apply insurance coverage and billing.
  • Answer phones using proper telephone etiquette.
  • Present financial policies and arrangements accurately to patients.
  • Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage.
  • Manage cash, checks and credit card payments.
  • Check out patients accurately by checking all information entered during
check in is correct and ready to be sent to insurance.
  • Work as a team to complete projects and ensure positive patient experience.
  • Willing to travel between outpatient imaging offices.

Qualifications include:
  • High school graduate.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and EMR.
  • 2+ years in healthcare setting.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and positive
attitude. Ability to lead by example.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.
