Job Description:
PURPOSE OF JOB: Closely observe up to 10 patients simultaneously, under the direction of the Registered Nurse, utilizing remote audio and video monitoring technology to enhance patient safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide a safe environment for the patient through use of a secure audio-visual monitoring system while demonstrating dignity and respect for the patient.
- Effectively communicate with patient care team members, patients and families with consideration for age-specific accommodations
- Provides/assists with physical and emotional patient care needs under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED completion.
Experience: Varies according to department or position
Other Skills: BLS/CPR (unit requirement), excellent interpersonal and team building skills, must have strong verbal and written communication skills
