Part-Time-One day per week and fill in as needed to cover fulltime employee out sick or on vacation. Clinic hours 10:30am-7:00pm M-F and 8:00 am-4:30 pm on Saturday coverage may be needed.

We are looking for a PRN Patient Care Representative. This position will provide support for the daily activities of ETSU’s College of Nursing Mountain City Extended Hours Clinic. Responsibilities include:

• Answers incoming calls, determines the purpose of callers, takes messages and delivers them electronically, or transfers call to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains and builds provider schedules and enters appointments into a computerized scheduler accurately.
• Provides exemplary customer service; treats patients and coworkers with courtesy and discretion.
• Completes appointment reminder calls.
• Receives, sorts, and routes mail; retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
• Completes insurance verification and eligibility requests.
• Scans documents and imports them into the electronic health record system.
• Copying and requesting medical records.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-year medical office, or call center experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $10.00 - $12.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

• Mountain City, TN 37683: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
