Job description
Job Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring PPGH healthcare providers are credentialed/re-credentialed by the various insurance/payers under contract with the facility. This position also coordinates the Charity Application process for self-pay or under insured patients, and manages PPGH’s Medicare bad debt.
Qualifications/Reporting:
Required minimum education: High School graduate or equivalent.
Required minimum experience: Minimum two years experience in business office functions; prior healthcare experience preferred.
Required skills (if applicable): Working knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding employment and benefit administration. Strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software.
