Job description
Parts Specialist - Position Responsibilities
- Research parts on all make & models.
- Responds quickly and accurately to all customers, branches, shop, and field technician's parts needs (take orders, answer questions, research, etc).
- Places orders, receives orders, & distribute accordingly.
- Post, pick, and prints tickets for counter sales and technicians as required.
- Advises service department on outstanding back orders.
- Recommend additional parts and up-selling as needed.
- Additional duties upon request.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good knowledge of stockroom inventory practices
- Accuracy in keeping records of items received and issued
- Accuracy in maintaining perpetual inventory
- Skill in the use of calculators and personal computer
- Ability to get along with co-workers
- Ability to organize, multi-tasking
- Good communication skills.
Acceptable Experience & Training
- A combination of experience and training equivalent to 1 year
