Now Hiring Parts Inventory Specialist.

The Nelson International and North Central International group is the leading truck dealership covering the heavy duty truck market in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa.

We are seeking a motivated individual that can help support and improve our parts inventory process throughout our 4 state territory and 19 locations.

Parts Inventory Specialist Job description:

• Build and maintain a professional and long-lasting relationship with vendors and manufacturers that we order our parts through.

• Maintain parts inventory control for the company from ordering parts to monitoring stock and inventory levels.

• Assist in other order processing functions
• Maintain various inventory reports

• Assist parts personnel with day to day parts requests

• Researching alternative product lines and options
• Work directly with local Parts Managers and upper corporate parts management to plan and execute customer level physical inventories

• Analyze inventory trends to determine the drivers of inventory variances, initiate correct actions, and collaborate with operations on the implementation of those corrective actions and process changes

• Follow-up on existing orders/backorders
• Duties are not limited to the list above.

Experience Required

• Two Years Truck Parts Experience OR Two Years Inventory Control Experience OR Equivalent Combination

Skills Required

• Knowledge of standard computer programs and ability to quickly learn and efficiently use new software programs.

• Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate clearly.
