Parts Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone, research parts and process orders
  • Maintain cleanliness of the parts department
  • Manage parts inventory to prescribed levels
  • Make hydraulic hoses as needed
  • Monitor and communicate order status to customers and in-house departments (service and production), including all backorders
  • Communicate with vendors to expedite orders when necessary
  • Resolve any Customer issues, problems or complaints to satisfy the Customer
  • Ensure accurate and timely ordering from vendors and invoicing to Customers
  • Support and assist the Service and production departments
  • Follow Company policies and procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Place orders with outside Vendors and follow-up as necessary
  • Assist in maintaining tier 2 material carts for upcoming builds
  • Process and collect monies for cash sales

Requirements:

  • Previous parts department experience required
  • Great interpersonal skills – Displays honestly, ethics and integrity at all times
  • Self-Managed and Self Motivated
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to cope with pressure, multiple projects and frequent interruptions
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidentiality
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum 75 pounds
  • Position requires the ability to push, straight pulling, walking, standing, kneeling, repetitive bending, ability for rapid mental and muscular climbing requiring the use of legs and arms.
  • Ability to distinguish basic colors, numbers and depth perception
