Job description

An family in Needham, MA is hiring an afternoon nanny for their two sons ages 9 and 12. During the school year, the daily routine includes picking the boys from school, serving snacks/easy dinners, assisting with homework, outdoor activities, and driving to and from extracurricular activities. Both boys have activities located in Dover, Wellesley, Newton and Needham. A more detailed routine will be dicussed during the interview.

Household responsibilities: serving snacks/dinner

Driving responsibilities: school pickup and extracurricular activities. A car will be provided if you do not prefer to drive your own. Mileage will be reimbursed if you use your own vehicle.

Their ideal nanny is willing to jump right in, happy, positive, patient, and fun - and will create a loving and nurturing environment.

Parents are vaccinated and request that all candidates are vaccinated. The family is following all CDC guidelines for social distancing and mask wearing when appropriate to do so.

Location: Needham, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 2pm-6/6:30pm (20-22.5 hours per week) starting ASAP.

Pay Range: $21-24

You Are:

• Outgoing, enthusiastic, responsible, and active
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to support homework help and enjoy planning activities to do together with school-age children
• Vaccinated and practicing CDC guidelines for social distancing when appropriate (family is doing the same)
• Willing and able to pass a background check with driving history
• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States

You Have:

• A minimum of 2 years of childcare experience with elementary/middle school age children
• CPR Certification (or are willing to take a CPR course that we pay for)
• Reliable personal transportation to drive yourself to work and possibly school pick up/activities (family has vehicle for you to drive, mileage only reimbursed if driving your personal vehicle)
