WE ARE A SMALL DOCTORS OFFICE WHICH SPECIALIZE IN CARDIOLOGY/ ELECTROPHYSOLOGY. THIS JOB WOULD BE FOR A PM SHIFT 12PM-5PM OR 1PM TO 5PM. THURSDAY WOULD BE THE FULL CLINIC DAY ANY WHERE FROM 9-11AM BUT MUST STAY UNTIL 5PM. WE HAVE 2 LOCATIONS OUR MAIN LOCATION IS HUNTINGTON BEACH AS TO THE NORWALK LOCATION WILL BE CLOSING. WE ARE VERY STRONG ON COMMUNICATION, AND CROSS TRAINED TEAM.

• SUBMIT AUTHORIZATION IN OFFICE AND OUTPATIENT PROCEDURES
• MULTITASK
• MUST BE STRONG WITH COMMUNICATION
• ICD AND CPTS KNOWLEDGE
• MUST KNOW HOW TO MAKE NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS
• MUST KNOW HOW TO PREFORM EKG'S

Our well-established medical team is currently seeking an extremely detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our cardiology practice. The successful candidate will work directly with patients as well as the medical team assisting with their needs. This includes scheduling appointments and follow-up visits, completing administrative tasks, taking EKG's, and assisting with the preparation of exams and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Follows the procedures and protocols of the physician or surgeon.
• Treats patients in an efficient manner.
• Handles medical records according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Opens and reads mail for the office.
• Reviews test results and other paperwork in order to fulfill research requests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
