Description
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled part time general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Tasks
Applicants will be considered for any part time general labor type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, first processing, leg line, wog halving, packing, deboning. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.) These positions may work in a cold (50 degrees F or below), damp or hot, humid environment (some jobs may reach 120 degrees F in the summer months) and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.

Various schedules are available for part-time employees with up to 15- 29 hours per week.

No rehire for former Tyson Team Members that were termed for gross misconduct.

Part-Time team members will not be eligible for benefits (ex: vacation, medical, holiday, etc.)
Note:
Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days. Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
