Miller Swim School is excited to make an addition to our Front Desk staff in a Part-Time capacity. As an industry standard, our Part-Time team members work between 15-25 hours per week, gain access to excellent benefits, work a flexible schedule throughout the week and weekend, and more!

Requirements for the Job:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (most shifts lasting from Saturdays 8:30am to 1pm; or weekday evenings from 3/4pm to 9pm).
• Experience working in customer-facing positions which require strong customer service skills, administrative and organizational functions, and/or sales and marketing experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where your work will be both at a desk as well as on your feet.
• Preferred: working with a CRM or POS system
• Successful completion of both a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Required Job Duties:

• Greet customers
• Answer telephones
• Handle all customer accounts, including but not limited to: Enrollments, posting tuition payments, printing and mailing invoices, making necessary schedule changes, collections, cancellations, complaints, etc.
• Handle all customer complaints in a confident, friendly manner.
• Passing only those that are difficult to handle to assistant or office manager
• General office tasks such as keyboarding, copying, filing, faxing, and computer applications, etc.
• Schedule parties, finalize party contracts and collect payments for parties
• Opening and closing duties as listed on the morning and evening checklists.
• Light cleaning as needed, i.e., washing dishes, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, laundry as needed, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
• Screen job applicants
• Bake cookies and make sure cookie bins are filled.
• Supervise lifeguards on weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Passing on information to customers via going into observation rooms.
• Sales and promoting the business.
• Work together as a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
