Acupuncture clinic looking for a part time front desk associate

• Answers incoming phone calls.
• Greets, checks patients in and out.
• Handles patient flow.
• Schedules patients.
• Accepts payment of services and has a general understanding of medical insurance such as copays, deductibles, etc.
• Organizes physical files and virtual paperwork.
• Maintains the office, reception area, and other common areas.
• Helps builds business with social media and referral relationships.
• Maintains strict patient confidentiality and has an awareness of the sensitivity of patient information.

The ideal candidate must be:

• Willing to work Saturdays and have flexible hours based on practitioners schedule.
• Willing to work at other clinic location in Richardson based on business needs.
• Previous experience in a medical office environment is preferred but not required.
• Must have strong telephone and computer skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Provides positive patient and colleagues interactions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Social Media content creation a plus.

We don't provide medical coverage, but we do provide free acupuncture treatments and discounts on Chinese herbs and supplements.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
