Job description
The Professional Pilot Technology Department of Vermont Technical College invites applications for Summer 2023 (May 23, 2023 - August 19, 2023)
The course to be taught is AER 2032 - Commercial Pilot: Flight II
This course is the final of three that enable the student to gain the necessary aeronautical knowledge, skill, and experience to meet the FAA requirements of a Commercial Pilot certificate with an Airplane category and a Single-Engine Land rating. The course is practice-intensive to build skills with flight time.
40 flight hours per term
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Teaching experience at the college level is preferable.
Must be a certified flight instructor and have the cumulative flight time and experience to be eligible to teach Part 141 Commercial flight.
Salary:
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
