Part-Time Facilities Show Coverage

Steppenwolf Theatre Company is accepting applications for facilities show coverage staff. An ideal candidate should have great attention to detail, be self-motivated and be able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. The Show Coverage position has a range of duties that will vary based on the shift being worked that day. Shift hours could be any day Tuesday-Friday 5pm-11:30pm, Saturday-Sunday 12pm-11:30pm


Areas of Responsibility:

  • Maintain lobby appearance
  • Monitoring and servicing restrooms throughout the shift
  • Removing trash
  • Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises
  • Maintain garage appearance
  • Working the point-of-sale system in the garage collecting parking payments
  • Assisting with snow shoveling and salting
  • Assisting with table and chair setup for events and meetings

Desired Qualifications:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Inherent helpfulness and a positive attitude
  • Flexible evening and weekend schedule
  • Must be reliable and professional
  • Able to lift to 40 Lbs.


Compensation:

Hourly rate is $15.40 per hour with benefits for part time employee. Benefits include dental, vision insurance, employee assistance program, 401(k) matching retirement program and Ventra transit benefit program.
