Do you own a pickup truck? If so, CompostAVL is hiring for compost collectors, and we are seeking individuals to join our team.

You will use your pickup truck to transport Compost Bins from residents’ doorsteps to our Compost site. All driving is done Sunday from 8am to 2pm.

We offer an immediate start date and provide hands on, paid training. No experience is necessary.

Job Duties:

• Collect compost bins from the clients and set out a clean compost bin that we supply. No bulk items. All compost bins have lids.
• Take required photos (arrival, departure, tracking, non-compliance) during service utilizing our company’s App
• Work 6-8 hours per shift with the shift starting at 8am every other Sunday

Safety statement:

What We Require:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• A smart phone with data plan to access Google Maps
• An open bed pickup truck is required
• A valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as driver on policy) for your vehicle is required

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $21.18 - $23.04 per hour
