Hours: 15 - 20 hours per week (Schedule TBD)

Pay Range: $20 - $22.50 (Depending on experience)

Mulberry’s small child to adult ratio, which includes a devoted parent body, allows children 2-5 years old to fully explore our expansive campus. The Classroom Aide position will represent Mulberry School as they are an important member of the staff. They ensure all responsibilities are performed and delivered with high quality and in a professional manner.

Overview of Position: The Classroom Aide reports to the Head of School. The position will include but not be limited to providing student support in the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working with children
• Self-motivated, cooperative, personable, and empathetic to human needs.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks under fixed time constraints.
• Good communication skills, whether in person, by email or on the phone.
• Comfortable seeking assistance when necessary.
• Positive Discipline Training
• High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Providing in-person classroom support, classroom management, and supervision with lead teacher teaching remotely
• Bathroom walks as needed
• Recess support as needed by recess staff
• Assist in cleaning classroom at end of day

Other Duties:

As assigned by the Director of Operations and or the Head of School.

COVID-19 considerations:
We have an extremely well-rounded Safety Plan. We were one of the 3 schools to receive a waiver in Santa Clara County to reopen. We have been teaching and learning in person since September 2020.

• Los Gatos, CA 95032: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
