We have a delightful family in Springfield who is searching for a long term, full time, live out nanny/family assistant for their elementary age daughter, two year old son, and newborn (January) daughter.

The schedule:

15-25 hours per week (very flexible)

12pm-5pm OR 1pm-6pm

Monday through Friday (3-5 total days per week)

Very occasional flexibility to swap some of the weekday hours for weekend date nights

The ideal start date is January and the family is hoping for a 12 month commitment.

The family consists of an older daughter who lives with them part time, a two year old son who is in daycare until 3pm, and a baby girl due in January. Their oldest daughter primarily needs after school pick-up on the days she is with them. Their son loves to get outside and run around- there is a park within walking distance.

Requirements:

• Newborn and toddler experience
• Nanny should be warm and lovely
• Household tasks include light meal prep for the children but family meal prep would be preferred, the children’s laundry, tidying up, light dishwashing and loading the dishwasher
• Local driving in the nanny or family car
• Covid vaccine isn’t required, but preferred + Flu and TDap required (Mom and Dad are fully vaccinated)

Mom will be on maternity leave from January until around March and then she will work from home full time. Dad works a hybrid schedule.

There are no pets and no plans for travel.

The family is offering a generous weekly pay based on the guaranteed hours along with paid vacations, holidays, and sick/personal days. On the books strongly preferred.
