Job description

A Paraprofessional will maintain a therapeutic environment while supervising youths in a residential setting. As a Habilitation Technician, the duties and responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to the following:

• Providing structure and consistency as treatment programs are followed
• Complete daily progress notes on each client
• Provide transportation for clients to appointments
• Administer and record medication
• Ensure that facility chores are completed
• Issue consequences as outlined in the program’s guidelines
• Prepare meals for clients required during your shift
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled fire drills and document outcomes
• Conduct a weekly monitoring of the water temperature
• Adhere to staff chores – i.e. client laundry, keeping staff bathroom clean, etc.
• And any other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• No Violations Noted In the Health Care Registry or Convictions Relating To Abuse of Children

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
