Paralegal - Criminal
Job description
A paralegal with the Calaveras County Probation Department assists deputy probation officers with adult and juvenile legal paperwork. This includes filling paperwork with the court, and, ensuring court documents are correct. A paralegal may assist with the implementation of state laws that affect the Probation Department and the reporting of statistical information.
Under general direction, to assist attorneys in researching documents and records regarding a variety of legal matters, to assist in the preparation of documents required for criminal litigation; to do related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.30 - $27.12 per hour
