1st shift $21.00 per hour with possibility to earn Gain Share every month

Hanger-Unloader is responsible for placing molded plastic part on the overhead paint line conveyor, taking the painted parts off the overhead conveyor and placing them in the appropriate container. Essential job functions of the Hanger/Unloader include the following: 1. Work around moving forklifts. 2. Direct forklift drivers to place full or empty containers near the paint line. 3. Rotate between hanger, unloader and other paint line positions such as blow off. Hanger: 4. Understand the paint schedule, which parts need to be hung, which hooks, hangers, brackets, etc. are needed to hang the part, and how the part is hung on the overhead conveyor. 5. Move with the hooks and parts as they travel on the overhead conveyor. 6. Hang the appropriate hooks, hangers, hang bars, etc. at various heights on the overhead conveyor per the process sheet. 7. Remove parts from racks, crates, etc. 8. Attach the appropriate hangers or brackets to parts using hand tools when necessary. 9. Hang parts on the overhead conveyor ensuring that they are properly seated on the hooks. Unloader: 10. Assemble racks as needed. 11. As painted parts are coming to the unload area, recognize acceptable and reject parts. 12. Apply travel tape or hardware to painted parts if required. 13. Remove painted parts from the overhead conveyor. 14. Place painted parts in the appropriate container. 15. Close or seal the container and label as needed. 16. Remove hangers from the overhead conveyor and place them in the appropriate location.
