Base Pay Starting at - $18.25/HR

Potters Industries in Canby, OR is seeking qualified candidates for our Packaging position. We are looking for candidates that set themselves apart from their peers in their quest to learn and be successful while meeting production goals in a “Safety First” environment.

• This position is for day shift – 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Schedule: 10 Hour Shift – (4 days on / 3 days off)

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Must be able to lift and move 50 lb bags

· Must be able to be medically cleared to wear a dust filtering respirator when needed for housekeeping.

Preferred Experience for Consideration:

· Prior job experience in a manufacturing environment

· Prior forklift operational experience

· Computer skills working with Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word / Access

Day to Day Duties:

Safely operate plant forklifts in support of production activities

Work as part of our packaging team preparing customer orders:

· Fill and seal 50# bags, bulk sacks, drums

· Apply labeling to orders

· Shrink wrap orders

· Move products around packing floor and to warehouse using forklift

· Sweeping and cleaning of production floor area

· Fill out packaging log sheets and paperwork

Participate in all Health, Safety and Environmental activities, monthly plant audits, accident investigations and Hazard IDs.
