The Source is a multi-state medical cannabis company. Our mission is to support medical cannabis patient healthcare needs in a compassionate and welcoming environment. Not only do we offer access to high-quality, affordable products; we are also cannabis experts. Founded in August 2019 in Northwest Arkansas, we’ve blazed new trails in the last year, opening 3 additional dispensary locations as well as a cultivation facility in Missouri.

As a result, we’re looking for top-notch people to join our mission. Let us be blunt, though. We are not a pot shop. We are a medicinal cannabis organization. Our teams understand that our patients are #1, and that impacts how we do business from the growing of our plants to the education and sale of product in our dispensaries. Packaging Support?

A good question. Thank you for asking. What that means is you’ll find yourself performing various compliance sensitive tasks where attention to detail and methodical performance pay off! Packaging Support works as a team to get our customers the quality products we work so hard to create in a compliant manner.

How We Roll:

Our Packaging Support has a very special place in the Show-Me state. We’re looking for someone who has the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Ability to balance and monitor a scale correctly.
• Must be able to accurately weigh all products within given tolerance, working with decimals.
• Understand and follow State/Metric Rules of compliance.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
• Ability to work in a team setting and follow directions.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the shift and takes pride in their station.
• Ensures Proper PPE is always worn within designated areas.
• Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation levels and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as needed.

What Lights Our Fire:

We don’t want to bowl you over with expectations, but you’ll need the following to be considered for our team:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment a plus.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities.
• Must be able to maintain fast paced performance of manual labor tasks which also require attention to detail to maintain product quality, efficient operations, and strict compliance with local and state regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outstanding work ethic & integrity.

A Few Extra Nugs of Information:

• This position is based in Joplin, MO and pays $15/hour.
• Due to state regulations, applicants for this position must be able 21 years old and able to obtain a MO Agent Card.
• Applicants must also be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
• Benefits eligibility the first day of the month after 60 days of employment, including medical, vision and 401k.

We are constantly seeking out new partnerships and new ideas for reducing our carbon footprint now and into the future. We’re installing new, eco-friendly, lighting inside our facility. We’re working on a solution for recycling our cannabis containers, and we’re working towards going as paperless as possible in our workspace. From container labels to receipts to our line of merchandise...we want to make sure we are doing our part as a service provider to offer our patients the best possible experience all the while being as responsible as possible for serving as stewards of our patients, our environment, and our global community.
