Del Monte Foods is seeking interested applicants for their Hanford, California. Candidates will fill positions in our new packaging line running on 3shifts (morning, afternoon, and night).

Qualified Applicants must have, at a minimum, one-year comparable work experience operating packaging machines in a warehouse, labeling, packaging, or distribution center environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Identify the below quality packaging materials and make necessary changes.
• Proficiently operate all equipment centers on the assigned line.
• Responsible for all changeover tasks.
• Follow SOPs, product batch record instructions, and corresponding qualitydocumentation in detail.
• Understanding of production schedule, Size/SKU changeovers, and production priorities.
• Report and make recommendations regarding equipment, work area, supplies, required repairs, process concerns, and safety concerns.
• Perform Container Workmanship documentation and machine performance checks.
• Check and verify that the correct codes and materials are being used.
• Clean, Inspect, and Lubricate the machines as needed and required.
• Read fault screens to identify problems. Use operator interfaces to identify causes ofmachine stoppages and restart machines without adversely affecting line efficiency.
• Unjam machines and initiate restarts; physically able to climb, reach and stand inmachines to unjam.
• Performs equipment checks to ensure equipment is running at correct setpoints.
• Inspects and sets aside mislabeled or dented cans and damaged containers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, including but not limited to equipment andmachinery, to obtain maximum efficiency without sacrificing product quality andminimize waste.
• Understanding of OEE and areas for improvement in quality, yield, and efficiency.
• Makes routine running adjustments. Cleans machines as needed to ensure properoperation.
• Assist in performing various tasks as directed by your Supervisor/Manager
• Performs assigned quality checks and maintains documentation.
• Always maintain a clean work area. Maintains Housekeeping Standards.
• Performssanitation of assigned equipment as needed and required.
• Ability to perform all label line job positions and provide break relief when needed.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Supports and facilitates, and assists in the implementation of the facility's
• Continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train new operators as required.
• Keep records.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Follows all plant safety rules and procedures.
• Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Must always operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Always observe Company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Safety Policies.
• Must follow lock-out/tag-out procedures at all times.
