Johnson Brunetti, a dynamic, fast-paced financial planning firm, has a need for a part-time (20 hours weekly) Bookkeeper to assist the Accounting department with bookkeeping as the Company continues to expand.

This is not a telecommuting position but will be based in the Company’s Wethersfield, CT office.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Manage accounts payable and vendor invoice processing.

2. Maintain accounts receivable and reconcile outstanding commission due to the firm.

3. Calculate commission owed to sales advisors and input into CRM.

4. Research and post credit card transactions to Quickbooks.

Qualifications/Skills

- Bookkeeping knowledge.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.

- Ability to work with confidential data and respect the confidentiality of the books and records.

- Knowledge and prior use of Quickbooks accounting software and MS Office products

- Self-starter and eager to learn attitude

- Ability to work independently

The most successful candidates will have the following:

- Associates degree or equivalent experience

- Minimum 2 years hands on experience with Quickbooks

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
